CHARAS: The improbable dome builders by syeus mottel, drake publishers, inc. 1973
based in new york's lower east side in the late 1960's, inspired by Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society plan and buckminster fuller's design concepts, the charas group created a program based on developing community autonomy through self-directed economic and education projects.
